Conventional Computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining is a technology which has been in existence for some decades and has reached what appears to be an apex, much in tune to the long history of machine tool evolution. This is important as one may realize that while it is an integral step to the industry of tomorrow, it is the culmination which has set the manufacturing industry in an entirely new direction. Understanding and applying this concept as a company is as important as understanding and applying the knowledge as a machinist. Making use of techniques and procedures which maximize the benefit of conventional CNC machining will add value to the machinist.
There are two different questions and it is very important to know “Why CNC & How CNC?”
Why CNC? This Relates with the precision, accuracy and quality but if you had gone to invest the money in CNC Then following factors will be there that will come under considerations. They are the total cost of machine, maintenance and tooling cost of new machine, cost of floor space required, machine or process utilization rates, utility, variation in machine cost. Utility costs may be rolled into an overhead number, but should not be ignored in equipment investments that may have significant energy demands. Electricity, compressed air, dust collection and waste disposal can be included here. The sum of utility costs and expendable costs will yield the annual variable costs. These combined with annual fixed costs will yield total annual costs. This would include labor costs, overhead and related operating expenses.
How CNC? This Relates with just invest in machining company which is having full facilities of equipment’s and machine like CNC which saves your extra investments. When we are investing in a machine to get the money back which we have invested, then there is a need to do extra efforts and overtime work. Whereas if we are investing in machining service company then there is no need to put any extra efforts. If you have bought a machine of worth high $ then you will have to work on machine for at least 20 hrs in a day to compensate the amount invested in machine that will include the labour cost, light and other variable expense etc. But if you are investing in machining Service Company then you will have to give 50% investment for 100% results. And by doing so there will be no concern of achieving the profit by leveling /compensating the amount invested in machining.
The machining company is having skilled and trained system with high quality assurance in less investment. Where Star machining provides you all CNC machining services solution with full satisfaction and quality.
